SEAJET 037 COASTAL is a hard-matrix antifouling coating for leisure sailing and motor boats in coastal and inland waters. Its hard, mechanically resistant film does not wear away while underway and is suitable for vessels up to 70 knots and drying moorings. • Suitable for seawater, brackish water and freshwater • For underwater hulls of GRP/fibreglass, polyester, wood and steel • Not suitable for aluminium • Apply by brush or roller; spraying is for professional use only • Apply at least 2 coats, with an extra coat on exposed areas • Colours: red, navy blue, medium blue, dark grey, black • Available pack sizes: 0.75 l, 2.5 l, 5 l, 20 l • Coverage: approx. 10.8 m²/l per coat (theoretical) • Dry film thickness: approx. 50 µm per coat • Thinner: SEAJET Thinner A, 0–5% • Application temperature: minimum 5 °C; maximum humidity 85% • Surface dry: 30 minutes at 20 °C • Fully dry: 4.5 hours at 20 °C • Maximum time before launching: 6 months after application • Shelf life: at least 2 years at 20 °C • Recommended primers: SEAJET 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer or SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer, depending on hull material • Hazard warning: flammable, corrosive, harmful to health and very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
