Where the information comes from
Marina, harbour and business details come from marina operators' own websites, public directories, OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and, for community spots, hazard reports, fuel prices, reviews and shared trips, from other users. MarineDirect does not verify this information and cannot guarantee it is accurate, complete or current. Positions can be off by tens or hundreds of metres; some are marked as approximate. Depths, lights, buoys, wrecks and other chart symbols are volunteer-mapped and may be missing, moved or wrong.
Berths, prices and availability
Availability, prices, berth sizes and facilities are indicative and can change without notice. A berth request from this map is sent by you, from your own e-mail or phone, directly to the marina. MarineDirect is not a party to that booking, does not confirm it, and is not responsible for whether the marina answers, has space, or honours a price. Nothing is booked until the marina confirms it to you.
Weather, sea state, routes and fuel
Weather and sea state are third-party forecasts (Open-Meteo) and can be wrong. Suggested routes are drawn on a coarse water grid and ignore depths, restricted areas, traffic schemes, buoyage and conditions. Fuel figures come from marinas, OpenStreetMap or other users and may be out of date. Do not rely on any of these for safety-critical decisions.
Community content
Spots, hazard reports, reviews, fuel prices and shared trips are posted by other users and reflect their opinion and experience, not MarineDirect's. Do not post anything unlawful, false, offensive or that you have no right to share. MarineDirect may remove content at any time.
